Understanding first steps before start using it

Listings

Your marketplaces conversations show up here as cards, each color-coded by its sync status with VAN.

  • Gray — History card. A VAN's opened listing, not linked to an active conversation

  • Yellow — Listing linked, messages waiting to be synced.

  • Green — All messages synced. You're up to date.

  • Red — No listing URL or VAN listing found yet. Open the chat and click "See Details" to capture it.

Search, sort & filters

Search by contact name, vehicle (year/make/model), VIN, phone, price, odometer, tag, or message text. Filter by source, sync status, or listing stage, and sort by last contacted, last synced, or stage. Your filters and sort are remembered between sessions.

Sync All

Click Sync All to push all pending messages to VAN, or enable auto-sync in Settings. It links the conversations to its VAN listings and uploads any new messages and attachments — each card turns green when it's up to date.

Cards

Each card shows the contact, vehicle, and listing photo with a status dot. Cards are grouped by source, and each group header has badges for totals, missing URLs, and pending syncs — click a badge to filter. Use the VDP button to open the listing, or ↻ to refresh its latest VAN data, or Sync ↻ to sync the pending messages

VDP

Open the VDP tab on a listing to view its VAN data, compare it against the source page, and update or create listings.

Merge & Updates

When you open a VDP, the extension compares VAN data with the source page. If differences are found, you'll get a prompt to pick which fields to update — nothing changes without your approval. In Settings → Look for Updates & Merge you can turn this off or choose exactly which fields to watch.

Add Listing

Navigate to a marketplace listing and click Add Listing on the VDP tab. The extension captures photos, vehicle details, and seller info automatically — just review and save.

Settings

Configure auto-sync frequency, default labels, watched fields, and more. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the header or open settings .
