Send Message - Default Templates

In this article, we'll show which are the default templates used by the system, as well as mention some tips on good practices while creating new templates.

As we covered in the article about Send Messages, you can prefill a message with a premade template.

These templates are divided in two categories:

  • Global Templates - Are those accessibles to all users of the account
  • Local Templates - Are the ones made by a user and marked as Local during their creation. Those templates will only be accessible for their creators

Default Templates List

The system provide the following premade templates ready to use:

  • Appt Confirmation/Address

    • Great! I’ll put you down in my calendar. Our address is [Store_Address]. Look forward to seeing you!

  • Missed Appointment

    • Hi, this is [Agent_Name] with [Store_Name]. I wanted to follow up as it seems you missed your appointment with us! Would you like to reschedule?

  • Hesitation Working with a Dealer

    • I completely understand your hesitation about working with dealerships. We are a fast, safe and easy alternative to online selling, and can also provide a same day check in most cases! Please keep us in mind for the future in case it doesn’t sell as quickly as you’d like it to. We’ll be here!

  • VIN Request

    • Would you mind sending me the VIN # to your [Make] so that I can run a quick Carfax History Report? An image is fine, too!

  • Range Offer

    • Thanks for getting back to me. Based on the others like yours in the market, it looks like we would be around $. It could be worth more, we just need to take a look at in person. Do you have any time this week to stop in?

  • Still Available?

    • Hi, this is [Agent_Name] with [Store_Name] Buy Center. Is your [Make] still available? I'm interested if it is.

  • Too Far Apart Objection Template

    • I understand that you want to get the most out of your [Make]...I would too. Based on the others like yours in the market, it looks like we would be around $. If you're not ready to consider our offer today, can I follow up in a week or so to see how it's going?

  • In No Hurry Objection Template

    • I understand that you want to wait it out a bit. I do want to be transparent and let you know that this offer is probably our most aggressive offer. The longer it sits, the more it decreases in value. Is it ok if I follow up with you in a couple of days to see if it's still available? I'll do it before our offer expires.

  • I'm Not Coming To The Dealership Objection Template

    • I know that you coming here isn't as convenient as us coming to you. We'll need to have our mechanics safety check the vehicle before the purchase is completed anyway, so its more efficient for everyone to schedule the inspection and evaluation here at the same time. What date and time works best for you?

  • I Don't Want To Sell To A Dealer Objection Template

    • We understand your hesitation about selling to a dealership. We like to do business with our local community & find vehicles like yours that are in good condition. There's no obligation to buy from us and we can purchase your car, do the paperwork and give you a ride home in an hour. Fast, safe and easy.

Templates Good Practices

We strongly suggest the use of the wildcards provide during the templates creation instead of using non-dynamic information. This way, for example, you could make an introduction template that could be used by all the agents by simply use the Agent Name wildcard instead of having one template for each agent with their names written manually in the template body.
